Don White Memorial Scholarship

$2,500 freshman year only scholarship to be divided between fall and spring semesters
 

The Don White Memorial scholarship has been established by friends of Coach White to honor his legacy at SWCS and to aid Southwest Covenant graduates who will seek a college education.

Coach White loved Southwest Covenant Schools and considered every day of the twenty years he taught and coached as blessings from God.  His knowledge and use of wit, wisdom, humor and personal anecdote in the classroom and on the football field was note-worthy and positively impacted the lives of his students who knew that Mr. White’s greatest desire for them was that they would follow Christ for a lifetime.

 
 
Eligibility Considerations
  • A senior at Southwest Covenant Schools
  • Met the academic eligibility of SWCS and be moving satisfactorily toward graduation
  • Shown evidence of a commitment to influence the world for Christ
  • Exhibited personal attributes of Christian character
  • Expressed and exhibited a love for Southwest Covenant Schools
  • Participated in school activities
  • Student must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours fall and spring semester of college and maintain at least a 2.0 grade point
